We’ve made some meaningful changes to the Rocket League Cash Cup program. Here’s a rundown of what’s different and what it means for you.

March 19th 2026 Updates
Prizing Distribution Notice

We have updated our prize distribution policy to better reflect our commitment to fair competition and competitive integrity verification. Please take a moment to read the following notice carefully:

Prize Distribution Notice: Tournament prize payouts may be subject to processing, and competitive integrity verification due to the impact of bots. As such, all prize distributions may be delayed for up to thirty-six (36) hours following the official conclusion of the tournament. By participating, entrants acknowledge and accept this potential delay and agree that such a timeframe is reasonable and does not constitute a breach of any prize obligation.

Extended Tournament Windows

Cash Cup tournaments will now run through to Monday, giving you more time to compete and post your best scores. The extended window means less pressure to squeeze everything into the weekend, and more flexibility to play at a time that suits you.

The additional time also allows our game admins to carry out thorough account reviews, ensuring that every leaderboard is clean and every result is legitimate. It’s one more step we’re taking to make sure that when you win, you know the competition was fair.

If you have any questions about either of these updates, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team.

March 18th 2026 Updates
1v1 Cash Cups Are Being Retired

After reviewing how our 1v1 events have been running, we’ve decided to remove them from the Cash Cup lineup. The decision comes down to competitive integrity. Team-based formats provide a more reliable and fair competitive environment, and we want to ensure every tournament we run meets that standard.

Bigger Prize Pools for 2v2 and 3v3

With 1v1 events stepping aside, we’re putting that value directly back into the formats players love most. Both ranked 2v2 and ranked 3v3 tournaments are getting an additional $250 added to their prize pools. If you compete regularly in team modes, you’re now playing for more.

A Fuller Weekly Schedule

We’re expanding the number of tournaments running from Monday through Thursday each week. In total, there will be a combined $2,000 extra in prize pools available across that window every week, giving you more opportunities to compete and more chances to earn throughout the week rather than waiting for the weekend.

Fun Mode Tournaments Are Coming

Alongside the standard competitive lineup, we’re introducing rotating fun mode tournaments. These are designed to offer something a little different from the usual ranked grind, with varied formats that keep things fresh. More details on the specific modes will be shared as they rotate in.

Get Ready To Queue Up On Repeat.

As always, we’ll continue to look at ways to improve the Cash Cup experience based on how tournaments play out and what we hear from the community. Stay tuned for further updates, and good luck this weekend.
