XY Gaming makes it easy for you to challenge and be challenged on the platform. With this comes different possibilities of setting up a match to your preference. The site has 4 different ways a match can be started, and this article showcases exactly what you need to do to get yourself in the game. Users on XY Gaming have full control of how, when and who they play on the site. A ranking system is integrated into the platform, which allows users to choose a matchup with any skill, unless selecting a challenge method that does not specify an even ranking matchup.
In each of the methods below you can wager using both Real Money or Coins.
Direct Challenge
These are challenges that are targeted by one user towards another user on the site. These can be issued to anybody on the site regardless of rank or skill, and users will be notified that they have been challenged in a match with a requested time.

Users can be sent or request to challenge other users by simply visiting the selected players profile, or by going to the Game page of their preferred game, and selecting a user they see currently online or via the game chat on the page. Users can also directly challenge their friends in the friends panel and selecting on the challenge icon.
Once you have received or sent out a challenge you will see them be placed in the Challenge page.
Incoming Challenge – Once another user has challenged you, you will be notified in your notification icon “notification icon image here” , which will be placed in your challenges page with the information and option to accept or reject the challenge
No punishment or loss of ranking will occur from rejecting a direct challenge, and it is completely up to the user’s choice whether or not to play another user on the site.
Outgoing Challenge – You have the option of directly challenging anybody you wish to play in your chosen game, and can also directly challenge after finding other users via the game chat board, friends tab, online users board, challenge board and players profile pages.
Challenge Board
Every game you add to your XY Gaming account will house the game’s own page under Game Page which accommodates the game’s Chat Board, your results for the game, Current Users Online and your Challenge Board
The Challenge Board acts as a shoutbox for users to request being challenged while posting their prefer time and currency values they are looking to compete with.

Open Challenge
Open Challenges are randomized on the XY Gaming page, and are created by the XY gaming team. They have set times and prizes for anybody that selects to join the challenge first regardless of ranking. Open Challenges will appear in the Game Page of selected games in the challenge board box on the page.

An Open Challenge Board will be placed with two blank positions to be filled by any two users at any time. Prizes will vary from video games, Cash, Coins and many free prizes.
Rematch
After every challenged played, a five minute process time will come into action before a result is posted. Once this has occurred, your Recent Match History will house your recent matches, with the option of redoing a match by clicking on the Rematch Tab
