The Evolution of Competition: Teams & Custom Lobbies Now on Repeat

0
Teams and Lobbies are Coming to Repeat

Assemble the Squad – The way you compete on Repeat is about to change forever.

For years, Repeat users have competed on our leaderboards, chased personal bests, and carved out their place at the top of the rankings. They have proven themselves as individual competitors. But competitive gaming has always been about something more than solo glory.

It’s about team chemistry. Coordinated plays. Shared victories. The kind of competition that defines gaming.

A New Era of Tournament Play

We’re excited to reveal that Repeat is expanding beyond leaderboard competitions and our asynchronous offerings. As of today you’ll be able to form teams, manage rosters, and very soon you will be able to compete against other teams in Repeat’s very own lobby system.

This isn’t just an incremental update – it’s a fundamental transformation of what’s possible on the platform. Custom lobby tournaments. Team-based competition. Real-time coordination against other squads who want it just as badly as you do.

Build Your Squad for the Battlefield REDSEC Open Series Today

In case you missed the news, the Battlefield REDSEC Open Series will be hosted on Repeat. So if you are planning on competing in the series, you can now start forming your roster, and getting ready for when registration opens.

With team management on Repeat, you’ll have the tools to:

  • Create and customize your own competitive roster
  • Recruit players who complement your playstyle
  • Compete as a unified force in team-based tournaments
  • Represent your squad’s identity on the biggest stage

Lobby Leaderboard: The Tournament Format You’ve Been Waiting For

Leaderboards will always have their place as our always on offering, for when time and flexibility are needed, but the most iconic moments in gaming happen when teams face off directly.

Custom lobbies bring that authentic tournament experience to Repeat, where you match your skills and compete directly against other likeminded competitive players – the format that’s driven gaming from grassroots to global phenomenon.

This is competitive gaming the way it was meant to be played.

How does it work?

When you enter a Custom Lobby tournament, you will be given an option to enter a queue. Once enough players have entered a queue—in the case of Battlefield 6 REDSEC, it will be 100 players—you will be given a custom lobby code to enter in the game and you will be brought into the match to compete against other Repeat players who have entered the queue.

Mobile-First Competition

Here’s what you need to know: Teams and custom lobby tournaments will be exclusively available through the free Repeat mobile app. To access these groundbreaking features, you’ll need to download the app and compete where the action happens.

This mobile-first approach ensures you can manage your team, coordinate with squadmates, and jump into tournaments wherever you are. Desktop access to these features won’t be available – the app is your gateway to the next generation of competitive play on Repeat.

For now, teams and lobbies will only be available for Battlefield REDSEC, but we will be looking to roll out this feature to other titles in the future.

Haven’t downloaded the app yet? Now’s the time. When the Open Series and our other custom lobby tournaments launch, you’ll want to be ready.

What’s Next

We have a whole host of holiday tournaments planned over the coming weeks, with prize pools for every game title on Repeat. For those of you that are looking for something to rally the squad – our Battlefield 6 always on tournaments have been beefed up to prepare you for the Open Series competition. Bring the squad and get training!

Create your team NOW for the Battlefield REDSEC Open Series because it won’t be long before further details around the Battlefield REDSEC Open Series are updated, and we will be able to open up registration –  so make sure your squad is ready for the call up. Build your squad, and be ready to deploy.

We’ll also be sharing more details about custom lobbies and how you can compete in our new tournaments over the coming weeks.

The infrastructure is being built. The tools are being refined. And soon, you’ll have everything you need to take competition to the next level.

Your squad awaits. Are you ready?

Download the free Repeat mobile app today and stay tuned for more updates. The future of competitive gaming on Repeat starts now.

Mission Briefing: Battlefield 6 Deploys on Repeat

Battlefield 6 is now on Repeat

Operation Battlefield Status: LIVE – Assemble your Squad and get ready to launch into competition like you’ve never seen before!

Soldiers, the wait is over. Battlefield 6 has officially deployed on Repeat, and with it comes a new era of competitive play. For the first time, the franchise’s most iconic modes – Conquest, Breakthrough, and the all-new REDSEC Battle Royale and Gauntlet – are available in a seamless competitive environment designed for players of every skill level.

This isn’t just another tournament announcement –  this is the dawning of a new era on Repeat, with the establishment of a competitive hub for Battlefield, and you’re getting in on the ground floor.

The Deployment: What’s Now Live

Battlefield 6 on Repeat means one thing: accessible, frictionless competition. No complicated enlistment processes. No endless squad briefings. Just download the app, jump in, and compete on your schedule. Whether you’re a veteran squad leader or a fresh recruit looking to prove yourself, the platform is built to get you into the action fast.

Here’s what’s waiting for you on the battlefield.

Mission Objectives: Three Tournament Series, Unlimited Opportunities

Series 1: The $2,000 Battlefield Solo Cup

Consider this your welcome party. The Launch Cup is a celebration of everything Battlefield 6 brings to the table, with a $2,000 prize pool on the line. This is open to all players across all modes – your chance to make your mark from day one.

Series 2: Class Combat Challenges –  72-Hour Rotations

Battlefield has always been about more than just gunplay. It’s about playing your role, mastering your class, and understanding the battlefield. That’s why we’ve created dedicated tournaments for each of the four classes with a $500 prize pool per event:

  • Assault – For those who lead the charge
  • Engineer – The backbone of every armor push
  • Support – Keeping squads in the fight
  • Recon – Eyes on target, every time
  • Vehicle Damage only – Drivers beware!

Each class will get their own 72-hour challenge cup, rotating continuously. Your performance is measured by how effectively you leverage your class abilities – not just kills, but objective play, teamwork, and tactical execution. Miss one rotation? The next one’s just around the corner.

Series 3: REDSEC Battle Royale & Gauntlet Weeklies

Dive straight into action in the Redacted Sector. The new modes deserve their own spotlight. Every week, $1,500 prize pools will be distributed across three regions:

  • Americas
  • EMEA
  • APAC

These aren’t one-off events. This is a sustained competitive ecosystem designed to grow with the community. Whether you’re grinding duos in Battle Royale or coordinating the squad in Gauntlet, there’s a path to compete and earn.

Tactical Advantages: Why Repeat Changes the Game

Here’s the reality: competitive gaming shouldn’t require a degree in tournament logistics. Repeat operates asynchronously, handling the entire process behind the scenes. Once you’re signed up, the platform tracks your gameplay, updates leaderboards in real-time, and manages payouts. You focus on playing. We handle the rest.

This is competition without the friction. No spamming Discord servers looking for competitions to play in. No chasing organizers for results. Just pure, uninterrupted gameplay with real stakes and real rewards.

And for those who’ve been watching from the sidelines? This is your entry point. These tournaments are designed to be accessible. Casual players compete alongside veterans, with skill-based leaderboards ensuring fair competition at every level.

Incoming Reinforcements: The Future of Repeat

We’re not done. Not even close.

We have more Battlefield 6 announcements, as well as our always on tournament programming, so you will never be without something to play for.

There are also brand new features coming to Repeat soon that will fundamentally change how you experience competitive gaming on the platform. We’re not revealing details yet, but if you thought streamlined asynchronous tournaments were the end goal, you’re not thinking big enough.

Stay sharp. Stay ready. The next evolution is closer than you think.

Mission Prep: How to Deploy

Enlisting is simple:

  1. Download the Repeat App – Available now
  2. Link your Battlefield 6 account in App – Seamless integration, zero hassle

Repeat Mobile App Launch

Now you can play anywhere, and track everything!

Competitive gaming has always demanded your best. Sharp reflexes. Quick decision-making. The ability to seize opportunities the moment they appear. But until now, managing those opportunities – finding tournaments, tracking results, and claiming prizes meant being tethered to your gaming setup.

Not anymore.

Repeat is now in your pocket – and with it, you’ll never miss a tournament again!

Why Mobile, Why Now?

Competitive gaming happens everywhere. You’re leveling up at any possible chance. Repeat should be there too – not as a distraction, but as your competitive companion. Now you no longer need to be chained to your desktop. Think of it as your competitive hub in your pocket.

Beyond that, the Repeat app opens doors. We’re talking new features, fresh tournament formats, and exclusive experiences we couldn’t deliver on the web before. Rest assured though, the Repeat website you know and love isn’t going anywhere – it remains the home for deeper tournament management and strategy. But mobile changes what is possible on Repeat.

What the Repeat Mobile App Gets You, Starting Today

Your tournaments in your pocket. Browse and discover new tournaments with smart filters and game-curated recommendations. The onboarding process is deliberately simple – we skipped the friction so you can start competing faster. Find what matters to you, enter tournaments on the go, and stay in the action.

Instant prize claims. Remember the feeling of winning and wanting your reward immediately? We built an entire dedicated section for claiming prizes – no hunting through menus, no complexity. Just your winnings, ready to claim, one screen away.

Notifications that matter. Stay updated on tournament starts, results, and opportunities without the noise. We’re rolling out our notification system carefully during this launch, so you’ll only see what actually affects your competitive journey.

Security that doesn’t compromise. Your account, your funds, your identity – all protected. Every login, ID verification, and transaction is built with competitive gamers’ safety in mind. You can manage everything seamlessly between mobile and web, keeping you secure.

What You Can Look Forward To

While we can’t be specific about them, yet, we are currently building features that will only be accessible via the mobile app which are set to release over the next few weeks and months.

These include exciting features such as a home tab of tournaments which is personally tailored to you, mobile app exclusive tournaments, new tournament formats, better results tracking, and much much more!

Download and Shape What Comes Next

The app is available now on both iOS and Android, globally. Finding it is straightforward – just search for Repeat in your app store.

The app is in the early stages of our rollout, so we’re asking our Repeat community to help shape the future of development. Think of it as a collaboration between a team and the players who know competitive gaming best. We’re watching, listening, and iterating based on real feedback from real competitors.

We want your feedback. Have an idea? Run into a bug? Found something unintuitive? Let us know. There’s a feedback link directly in the app (Profile → Settings → Provide Feedback) – for you to submit your thoughts and help us build the mobile platform competitive gaming actually deserves.

Download the app today. Compete. Win. And then tell us what we should build next.

Because this is just the beginning.

From Viewer to Competitor: The Carry Team Invitational Finals Guide

Rocket League Season 20 Carry Team Invitational

The Season 20 Carry Team Invitational reaches its climax this weekend with live finals on September 27th (North America) and September 28th (Europe), and there are plenty of reasons to tune in – we’ve got deluxe drops for all viewers, and two of our lucky viewers will end up competing alongside pros instead of just spectating.

The Pros

The Carry Team Invitationals have always been flush with talent, and Season 20 is no different. With talent this hot, there are sure to be some certified banger matches.

Do you think you could hang with these guys for one match?

North America Pro Line Up

European Pro Line Up

The Bounties

The ‘Pro Tax’ reflects the pros’ contribution in the Amateur achieving these bounties – Goals, saves, demolitions. Every significant play translates to cash earnings! The professional show match at the end is a chance for the winning pro’s to add to their amateur partner’s total, adding another layer to the stakes. The winners of the show match will each receive $1000 toward their team’s total bounty, with runners up receiving $500. Amateurs in previous CTIs have earned thousands of dollars in this event!

Tune In and Turn Up

While the qualified players battle alongside pros for cash bounties, 2 people watching each stream will get pulled directly from Twitch chat to join the competition. No warning, no tryouts, no complicated entry process. Just make sure you’ve got your hat in the ring – All you have to do is tune in, fill out the form and you’re in the draw – Just be ready when your username gets called!

You could suddenly find yourself in a lobby with professional players, competing for the same prize money as everyone else who spent weeks qualifying. You’ll be randomly paired with a professional player and compete under identical conditions to the qualified participants. Same pressure, same broadcast coverage, same potential earnings.

Everyone Watching Gets Something

Chat selection aside, every viewer can claim rewards during the broadcast. Deluxe drop codes will be distributed throughout both streams – just follow the on-screen instructions to add new content to your Rocket League garage.

No luck required for this part. Watch the stream, follow the prompts, claim your drops. Simple participation rewards for being part of the community. Be there, or miss out! It’s really that simple.

There’s also a bonus for those of you that are Rocket League connoisseurs – an exclusive tournament with limited spots, a $1000 prize pool and 10 codes to everyone who watches. The catch? You’ve got to be watching the CTI finals broadcast to get the password to enter. Click the link below to find out more, and make sure you’re watching when that password is dropped!

Team Up With Pros, Cash In Big: The Rocket League Season 20 Carry Team Invitational is Here!

0
Rocket League Season 20 Carry Team Invitational

The huge month of Rocket League continues on Repeat, with the launch of Season 20, and the return of the Carry Team Invitational.

Picture this: you’re sitting in a lobby with your favorite Rocket League pro, strategizing for a match where every goal, save, and demo could literally put money in your pocket. Sounds too good to be true? Welcome to Season 20’s Carry Team Invitational, where dreams become reality and everyone walks away a winner.

What is the Carry Team Invitational?

The Season 20 Carry Team Invitational (CTI) is once again bringing the heat with not one, but TWO massive finals events – one for NA on the 27th of September and one for EU on the 28th of September. With qualifiers running from September 16th to 25th, this is your golden ticket to team up with professional players, compete on broadcast stage, and potentially walk away with thousands in cash. Our last CTI saw the likes of Arsenal, Retals and Chronic grace the stage, so you know the CTI has star pulling power.

But here’s the cool part  – every single person who participates in the CTI qualifiers will receive a Rocket League Deluxe Drop code to redeem for your garage!

There are also daily tournaments as well as a $5,000 cash prize event to celebrate the launch of Season 20 in Rocket League, all of which will reward a deluxe drop just for participating in the tournament. Join the tournaments at the links below and we hope to see you in the arena.

How Does This Madness Work?

The path to glory has multiple routes, and that’s what makes it beautiful:

Getting to Finals:

  • 4 Repeat Qualifier winners from each region will be randomly paired with a pro
  • 2 lucky viewers get picked straight from Twitch chat during the live broadcast
  • Yeah, you read that right – you could go from watching to competing in real-time

The Money Game: This isn’t your typical “winner takes all” situation. Teams earn cash through bounties – we’re talking real money for goals, saves, demolitions, all the good stuff that makes Rocket League exciting. Last event? One team walked away with $3,615 from a single game. Let that sink in.

The Grand Finale: After all the chaos, the pros face off in a 3v3 showmatch. Here’s where it gets spicy – whichever pro team wins doubles their paired teammate’s earnings. Now that’s having some skin in the game!

Mark Your Calendar

  • CTI Qualification Period: September 16-25
  • CTI Finals Broadcast:
    • North America – September 27th
    • Europe – September 28th

Don’t sleep on these dates. The tournament window gives you plenty of shots at qualifying, but once it closes, it closes.

Why This Matters

Look, we’ve all watched pros play and thought “I could hang with them for at least one game.” CTI gives you that chance, but with actual stakes and rewards that matter. CTI is a chance to stack your skills up against some of the best in the business AND earn real cash while doing it. Win-win. The chance to compete alongside real Rocket League professionals, showcase your skills and earn bank doesn’t come around often. Would you pass up the chance to get noticed at what could be your breakout event?

How the Qualifiers Work

We take your best average scores to give you the best possible chance at winning. Whether you’re grinding ranked or just having fun with friends, this event levels the playing field in the best possible way. The random pairing system means it’s not just about being the absolute best – it’s about getting your shot and making it count when the lights are brightest.

Ready to Jump In?

Registration is live now through September 25th. Every entry into the CTI qualifiers, or our Rocket League Season 20 dailies gets you those guaranteed deluxe drops, but more importantly, it gets you in the running for something special.

Don’t just watch the next generation of Rocket League legends – become one.

Catch the broadcast finals September 27th & 28th and see if you’ll be the next player to turn a qualifier win into thousands of dollars.

Game on.
