Users who are under 18 can now play free (with cash prize pools) and coin entry tournaments on Repeat.gg as long as their parent or guardian gives consent.
Good news for all of you under 18 gamers! Repeat.gg has launched a version of the website that allows anyone under the age of 18 to play and win as long as they’ve given their parents consent.
How does this work?
When you are creating an account, after you have selected your Date of Birth, a field will generate with a check box indicating your parents have read our terms and conditions and give their consent for you to compete.
Simply fill out all the fields in the sign up process and make sure your parents have read our terms and conditions. Then, once they give your consent, you may check the box and continue with the onboarding process.
What if I had already created an account?
If you created an account prior to this release and claimed to be over the age of 18, any winnings you made during that time are voided and cannot be withdrawn. You can remove your Game ID from the existing account and create a new account with your correct age and parental consent.
If you want to keep your same account but just change your date of birth (with your winnings voided), email [email protected] and we can change it for you. We will also be releasing a form that will allow you to change your details and add your parent or guardian consent and we will announce this on our social channels and in Discord.
What is different about U18?
Due to certain laws in the United States, users who are under the age of 18 are not allowed to play in cash entry tournaments. You will only be able to view free and coin-entry tournaments for this reason. You can view our terms and conditions to see more detail on this.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
Yes, users of the website still have to be at least the age of 13 to compete in the free and coin entry tournaments.
We hope this may answer any questions you have about the under 18 version of the website. If you have any further questions, please email us at [email protected] or reach out to us on Discord.
