We have made a change to our Fortnite tournaments in the short term and wanted to give you an update for the future of these tournaments.
As you most likely noticed, many of the Fortnite tournaments have stopped appearing on Repeat.gg and we know you may be confused as to what is happening. Below you will find some insights into the decision and the plan moving forward.
What Happened to Fortnite Tournaments?
For the foreseeable future, we will only be hosting one tournament per week for Fortnite which will be a $1,000 tournament with Pubs and Arenas. This tournament will reappear at the same time every week.
Within the next 30-60 days we will have talks with Epic about how we can get back to running more tournaments and resume our normal schedule.
During this time we would love any feedback on what you would want us to work on with the tournament we will be running and also feedback for tournaments to run in the future.
We’re very sorry for this inconvenience, but we are hoping it will return back to normal shortly. Thank you for your understanding.
How Will The Weekly Fortnite Tournament Work?
The tournament will appear on the website on Sunday night / Monday morning and open registration will last 5 days. Games will begin counting at 12pm PST on Friday and run until 5pm PST on Sunday.
This tournament will be open to Pubs and Arenas, but only the building game mode for now. We will be exploring no builds tournaments in the future.
